Some people have asked me how I started my weight loss. My first few months in the blog archive explain it all.

Happy Halloween

This is it girls. The kick of of the eating season. All I can say is:
"Ere you left your room this morning, did you think to pray?"

As per your advice, I now have a bowlful of Smarties instead of the luscious mini candy bars I usually hand out on Halloween. Kids like Smarties, but I rarely find them tempting. In the past, I've always said that I want the good stuff so I won't be stuck with leftovers I don't even like. Now I say, you've probably saved me several pounds today!

BTW, I'm talking about the American Smarties, not the Canadian ones. No chocolate in this house day!

Somehow constant nausea seems to be doing the job for me. I have only had about two bites of chocolate in the last two weeks.

I gave in to some chocolate....but some sugar-free ones. I figured it was okay to have some, especially since it was my birthday yesterday. Down another pound, hooray!!!!

Glad to see you again. I hope you all are better! Miss you!

By the way, good thing about those sugar-free chocolates...they have built in portion control, if you know what I mean....

For those of you who don't know, if you eat too many you'll spend the day sitting on the porcelain throne.

Butterfingers: I'd rather eat dirt.

Denise, growing up I had a good friend with your name, it makes me smile when ever I see your name! I am glad you know about the dangers of Canadian Smarties - very dangerous!

Heffalump - poor girl, I hope the nausea ends soon!

Rebecca - did not know about the dangers of sugar free. Thanks for the info!

Luisa, maybe you are lucky that you have no desire for butterfingers? maybe you should be sad that you want to eat dirt? can't tell which;)

mindyluwho - I hope you survived! I hope it helped, I know I have a lot of chocolate bars under my roof, it is time for me to leave the house!

I need to start praying...HARD! I need my willpower and resistance back! Although I will give myself a mini-praise because I didn't buy any junk food while doing the monthly grocery shopping tonight. :)
